| Finance Manager IKU/Institut for Karriereudvikling recruiting on behalf of client The company: Bridgestone Danmark A/S is a subsidiary in the Bridgestone Corporation, which is the world’s largest manufacturer of tyres and rubber products with subsidiaries all over the world. The Bridgestone Corporation is world-known for their Formula 1 tyres. Bridgestone Danmark A/S is a sales company with 38 employees who market tyre brands such as Bridgestone, Firestone, Dayton and First Stop, on the Danish market. The tyres are entirely marketed through professional distributors. The position: As Finance Manager your job is to support and advice the General Manager in maximizing the profitability of the company in line with the Medium Term Plan (5 years) whilst complying with the policies and group objectives. Specifically, you are in control of the following: Finance: Management of working capital, cost monitoring and control, receivables and credit control, payroll, lease agreements, manufacturing equipment Planning & budgeting: Monthly reports to Bridgestone Europe, Brussels, and to local management teams of Bridgestone Danmark A/S and Tobøl Dæk A/S Purchasing: Everything except tyres (which is carried out by the Logistics team) Administrative functions, legal representation: Annual statutory financial statements, insurances, treasury, VAT, liaison with auditors and other regulatory and statutory bodies Other: IT safety, development and maintenance, HR policy implementation, ensure specific SOX (JSOX) implementation The Finance Manager refers directly to the General Manager and is part of two management teams. Two experienced accountants are referring to you.
